Who This Resource May Help
Pennsylvania Find My Ride may help when transportation is the problem, but the family is not sure which program to contact. It is a statewide online tool for older adults, people with disabilities, Medicaid recipients, and caregivers who need help finding or applying for transportation-assistance programs.
This is not a ride company. Find My Ride does not directly guarantee a vehicle, driver, or appointment time. It helps connect people with participating local transportation providers and programs based on the rider’s needs, location, and eligibility.
What Caregivers Should Know Before Applying
Find My Ride Apply lets Pennsylvania residents apply online for transportation assistance programs offered by local providers. The application may help connect riders to affordable or no-cost transportation options for seniors, people with disabilities, or Medical Assistance recipients.
Eligibility depends on the program and county. A person may qualify based on age 65 or older, disability status, Medical Assistance status, trip purpose, mobility needs, or local provider rules.
Caregiver tip: Have your rider’s home address, date of birth, age, any Disability information, Medical Assistance or ACCESS card information ready. They will also want to know about destination needs and mobility accommodations when applying.
If the online application feels confusing, use the Find My Ride county contact page to identify the local transportation provider. Families can ask that provider for help with the application.
Services or Support Offered
Find My Ride may connect riders to programs such as senior shared-ride transportation, reduced-fare disability transportation, Medical Assistance Transportation Program services, or other local transportation support.
For Medicaid recipients, the Medical Assistance Transportation Program may help with non-emergency medical transportation to covered health care services.
This may include rides to doctors, dentists, behavioral health providers, pharmacies, hospitals, testing centers, or medical equipment suppliers.
The type of ride depends on the program. Some services may be curb-to-curb. Some may offer door-to-door help when medically verified. Some programs may use shared vans, taxis, accessible vehicles, bus passes, or mileage reimbursement.
Eligibility, Cost, or Application Notes
Pennsylvania’s official Find My Ride page says a person may probably qualify for discounted or free transportation if they are age 65 or older, have a disability, or have Medical Assistance.
To apply online, use Find My Ride Apply. Users may log in with a PA Keystone Login account or create a new account via the PennDOT website.
Families should not assume approval means every ride type is available. After applying, confirm the service area, trip purpose, scheduling rules, fare or copay, escort rules, equipment accommodations, and how far in advance rides must be booked.

Why This Listing Is Included
Transportation programs can be hard to sort out. Families may hear about shared ride, MATP, senior transportation, disability transportation, SEPTA Access, or county programs and not know where to start.
Find My Ride gives caregivers one place to begin. It can help identify possible programs and local providers, especially when the rider’s needs involve age, disability, Medicaid, mobility limitations, or medical appointments.
